These products are not really competing for the same job. Here is the straight version.

- CoachCore is cheaper. Why pick DrillBase?
- At the entry tier it is cheaper, and if you want a branded booking site for one-to-one lessons in any sport, that is a fair reason to pick it. DrillBase earns the difference only if you want racket-sport depth: a curriculum engine built around drill cycles, rating movement tied to those cycles, and an academy layer for when you are no longer coaching alone. If none of that is worth 29 a month to you, CoachCore is the better buy and we would rather you knew that.
- Do both take a cut of lesson fees?
- Neither takes a commission on your coaching fees. CoachCore makes the point prominently, and DrillBase works the same way: you connect your own Stripe account and pay Stripe's processing rate directly.
- What is genuinely different?
- Specialisation. CoachCore has to work for a swim coach and a golf coach as well as a pickleball coach, so its programs stay general. DrillBase only ever has to fit six sports that share a structure, so it can assume drills, cycles, doubles pairings and dynamic ratings.
